Okay, okay, maybe not, and maybe that's a trademark, and no I'm not casting aspersion at anyone that requires one. It's just that my weight is hovering around and going nowhere in particular.
Today's weigh in had me at hello. I mean, I weighed 241.5 pounds on the scale.
No, I'm not delirious with the progress from yesterday. No, I didn't get any last night. Yes, I'm somewhat happy in general today.
Okay, I'm fat. Not as fat as the people on Biggest Loser, but fat enough that I am willing to see if Irvingia can help me lose weight easier.
For those not in the know, Irvingia is a supplement extracted from the Irvingia Gabonesis. This is a tree commonly known as the wild mango or bush mango.
What I'm Taking
I'm a big fan of the LEF for their work in bringing to light various health issues. Basically, when I am fully employed I prefer their supplements and am now taking:
Some people find the LEF gets a bit too heavily into a sales pitch when promoting their products. That's true. However, I do like the fact that they stress purity and quality while providing references to studies.
At this point I should, in theory, be entering the more effective stages of the irvingia regimen. I do have to admit that I've had very poor dietary habits and my weight is trending down without the addition of exercise or anything else.
So, I think I can safely report that irvingia will not do the work on it's own. The question that remains, for me, is whether it can aid the body by speeding weight loss when you do live a healthy lifestyle.
